It's almost impossible to believe that the day I've been looking forward to for years is here. A couple of hours ago, I left the office, carded the sensor at the parking garage, drove the Longfellow Bridge for the last time. I've still got the baggage of the company computer, Blackberry, credit card, and consulting agreement (you could call it insurance in these days of fin de Bush) but there's nothing to brace the spirit like cleaning out your office. Cleaning out the mind and preparing it for Maine will take a little longer. There are 29 years of feigning the business of being a businessman to un-synchronize.
